Group9 Intercooler

I like the Group 9 intercooler. Admittedly I don't have much experience comparing a wide range of intercoolers for Saab 9000s. But when I compare it to the factory intercooler, I really do like Group9's. Before my 1995 CSE, I had a 1993 9000 Aero with software from Frank as well. It was tuned to about 285 hp at the crank. In my 1993, I always found that under WOT the psi level in the intake manifold would drop by a few psi. In my opinion, this was due to the factory intercooler. However, with the intercooler that I have from Group9 right now, I get maybe a 1/2 psi drop under wide open throttle and I am boosting right now at about 20-22 psi (depending on how cold the outside air is).
The only real complaint I have about the Group9 IC ..... I had to hacksaw down the little shaft (this shaft is the one that goes into the bracket that holds the intercooler and a/c condensor together) that sits on top of the intercooler so that the intercooler would fit under my 1995 CSE's rad support. Admittedly a minor thing, but nonetheless worth mentioning in my mind. But in terms of performance... I do like the intercooler.
Hope that helps!
