Sorry for the delay in replying (I was sick with a massive toothache yesterday). The install was successful. Because I have an odd combination of 82T CIS fuel and APC electronics coupled with an 86 block and 92 2.1 n/a/ head, I've got issues most others don't have. For me it's a matter of adapting and modifying wherever and however I can to expand the limits of this set-up. I'm not looking for big balls HP at this point since I want to be able to drive this car. I was just looking for a challenge, plus seeing what I can come up with by way of simple and effective performance improvements. I do like the new head so far in terms of noticable overall HP improvement, but I am experiencing some boost lag issues. I think it's partly a cam related issue at this point. The 92 n/a intake cam has a quicker closing time which increases compression inside the cylinder, but it also may be holding back the turbo pressurized intake charge. If I swap in the slower closing 86 cam, I may end up with more turbo response, but less overall pop under normal conditions. One solution may be to use the 86 cam and advance the distributor timing a few nicks. We'll see. I do recommend the upgrade though. Just be sure it's ready to drop in and work right - resurfaced and valves in good shape.
