It does hit, eventually. The boost remains constant in the guage, but I think it may also be an APC/wastegate setting issue. Probably a little too much kick for that component setting, which I haven't changed from the previous 86T head. What I might also be experiencing is mental - since the engine kick overall is improved over the previous head, the run-up to boost kick is possibly smoother than what I experienced previous. In other words, the kick is less noticable since it's doing better leading up to that kick moment. Maybe the kick is the same, and everything else is improved, while my brain tells me the opposite - that there's no kick. I'll know more as the days go by. Thanks much for the insight.
