You can get software locally from Paul at Automotion in Boston, Jak in NC or Nick at Genuine Saab in Missouri. If you are not near any of those guys, you can send them the ECU and they can upgrade and send back.

If you go with SQR you will bump from 170hp/200tq to 230/272tq. You will have to check with Nick and Jak for their figures. Most tuners strongly recommend a high flow air filter for stage 1 upgrades, though no other hardware is necessary. If your 9-5 is a 2000, there is a factory tuning kit that will bump power from 170hp/200tq to 200hp/226tq.

Keep in mind that this engine is very similar to the 2.3T's from the old 9000's that made 200hp/244tq bone stock. So stage 1 wouldn't really be considered a big strain, though the newer lighter pistons can't handle the 300+hp stages that the older engines could.
