you did notice the fact that mine was on the shelf unused?? However...there is still the chance that it will be effective at high boosts by not allowing the spark to be blown out. My msd causes a distinct problem at 2-3000 r's, i AM using it though to chase down my hi boost problems, or trying to. keep in mind that others who put it on may have bad other problems rectified by it or perhaps even the characterics of the porting may change things.
SO if it is NOT causing problems at this point you are still on step ahead of me. i could have sworn there was a time when it worked...so there is the off chance that mine is bad. the chaps at msd were less then helpful and in fact basically refused to even look at it. msd infallible or some such crap. in any case i am running stock ign fine up to 1/4 red but still need to shake out that last bug. i'm thinking BPV since the problem seems to occur only at high boost. mine could even be turbulence at the amm...i have to replumb that area anyway..
i've been meaning to use the exact same language re the 900 beating vette routine.
later.
