Another tuning question.

I've researched every possible search I could do on this BB and haven't been able to find any definite answers on this.
Has anyone tried raising the cutout point by puting a manual bleed valve on the vacuum line to the pressure transducer? I've seen discussions on blocking it, unplugging it, bypassing it, but not bleeding off a little pressure to fool the APC into thinking that cutout hasn't been reached yet.
I effectively raised the cutout on my Mopar turbo from 14lbs to 21lbs this way. My max boost is set to 20lbs so I never hit cutout. But it is there in case something in the system fails and I overboost. It takes a little time and tuning to dial it in but it gives me a little more security than overriding it completely. A little insurance goes a long way. If I do mods that allow me more boost I can just open the valve a little more to raise the cutout as well.
