I think you have a 91 900? were you in touch with me?
the overboost is in your ECU it uses the air mass meter
I think brad has had good results with a resister in the orange wire from the AMM & larger injectors Ive seen others who werent successful with this though & some hit 20 lbs all day with a stock ECU & no resister at all
I found with a stock ECU that below like 3500RPM you can hit high boost with no fuel cut but if you are at say 4000RPM let off & nail 15 PSI it hits violently & shuts off fuel
I personally think its a bad idea to turn off the fuel on a tuned car hitting over 15PSI & the higher the boost you are running the worse I think it is to turn off the fuel
if you are the guy with the bigger turbo & a bunch of other things Id strongly sugjest biger injectors & a chip as the best way to deal with overboost protection limitations & to get your fueling dialed in

on trionic cars the map sensor is the only load input so you dont really want to blead the signal off because the ECU trys to reach target map by raising boost while the fueling is set up for the actual load input which can cause lean out
just a bad idea

bleading off the boost signal to the WG actuator is what you did on your chrysler this brought you higher boost & that ECU may opr may not have had overboost protection in it if it did it was set pretty high :-)
