Run hot coolant through the throttle body? C’mon it’s a no brainer.
Just hook the coolant lines together and forget the switch.
I’ve had mine bypassed throughout the cold upstate NY winter with no issues whatsoever.
If you really want to connect them back for winter it’s probably easier just to hook the lines back up to the throttle body than to add a switch anyway.
