you can go up with it a tad
I like to use stock knock sensativity to set the ignition timing by advancing the timing at a given boost till boost becomes unstable & then back the timing off till it just stabilizes & then mabey just a minor tweak on the K pot
you can dammage your engine if you get the K up too far & dont have everything else set up to keep pre ignition to reasonable levels,
the APC then isent really there to pull back boost when the car pings :-(
