Gary can probably add to this but this is what I remember! JE forged 8 to 1 pistons. Rods side ground/wet-mag'd/shot-peened, converted to BB Chevy 7/16" ARP waveloc bolts and resized to minimum housing bore spec and then bushed center to center to get the deck height right. Crankshaft lightened, shot-peened micro polished and everything balanced to the point of ridiculous! Block lined honed to min. spec. with ARP full shank studs, bored true to crank centerline and power honed with our Saab torque plate and of course decked (min.) to crank centerline. All the normal stuff on the head and ARP reduced shank (for elasticity with an aluminum head) studs were used. Dave
