a few years back when the car was tuned on a dyno dynamics dyno they claimed 290 whp or 370 crank HP at 21.7PSI. After driving the car I was expecting the car to be a LOT quicker thus I doubted the power was close to what they claimed.

So today a club had a dyno day ($53 with 3 pulls, a/f & boost) so I had to do it in the hopes of breaking 300whp. It developed 281 wtq at 21.3 PSI. The car reaches the 20+PSI at 3700 RPM's & has a flat torque curv from 3700 to 5300 rpm's then it drops off slowly to only 160wtq at 7400 rpm's :(

HP was 274 whp which didn't peak untill about 5K & remained flat to 6400 ish RPM's. The power then slowly drops to 240 whp at 7400

I am having a vac line issue where the car will not idle at all! When SAB was at my house we were out on a drive & I heard a hissing. It turned out the vac line going into the charcoal canister was disconnected. So I purchased new line & after hooking it up the car will not idle! I am not sure if that had something to do with how the graph looked but the numbers were similar to what I was expecting, I just expected it to hold the power much longer!

Thus... I am going to see if cams might be needed to give me more top end however I haven't found a set of aftermarket cams that work for me :(

On a good note the shop that did the work is a mustang/muscle car shop. They have a 880+whp cobra with 2 GT35's..... pretty amazing :) Anyways, I couldn't beleive that they actually really liked my old saab!
