So, I had already read the diy which was posted on the BB and it was very thorough and actually something I could probably handle on my own. BUT, I have the shifter with the two plastic half-spheres instead of the metal ball. I saw that Saabu had a DIY on how to do the plastic ball short throw shifter and I would be interested in seeing that too. I have a spare shifter and could give it a shot without worrying about ruining it. BUT, I think I will eventually just buy the kit from Savior. I like doing these little projects and everything, but the engine and transmission are not necessarily things I am comfortable possibly screwing up...
