I've searched and read for hours to find any postings about Koni shocks used with SPG springs, and haven't found any-so I'm posting another shock queston.

I have an '88 spg and need new shocks. The springs are in good shape, so I'm not looking to replace them now. Has anyone had experience using Koni Specials with the SPG springs? Are the springs too stiff for the Koni's to tame, or will that be fine?

I'm looking for good handling with a livable ride. Don't plan on any racing or road courses, just twisties on the weekends kind of thing. The decision is between Bilsteins HD (which by all accounts handle brilliantly but I'm afraid will be too harsh for everyday) and the Koni Specials--$$ is not a deciding factor on this one. Any opinions, experience you'd all like to share is appreciated to help with my decision. Thanks!
