I have the snowperformance stage 2, not maf stage 2. I have a 1995 900set.
No maf, I have map sensor. I talked to them about using the fuel injector duty cycle or the variable controller, they said they get better performance with the variable controller, that is what I have. Its works great as it starts at the adjustable level, mine set at start 8psi and reach full injection rate at 23psi, the variable controller uses a linier curve to increase the rate as you go up. You can make it come on full blast right away if you want. In my case say on at 8psi and full rate at 23psi, at 8psi, its 10% flow rate or less, then by half way, say 15psi its a 50% injection rate and by 23psi its on 100%. The great thing is I can richen it up or lean it out by adjusting the start/reach full injection rate by the two dials, this is a great way to tune it for the perfect amount of water/methonal. You want to richen it, richen it, richen it until it starts to stumble, quench, then back it off a hair and you are set perfect! They offer both styles, but I like the variable controller, easier to install and its adjustable, when I swithc from 91 pump to 93 pump, I need to add more w/m injection, with a little scre-driver, its done in seconds... I am very happy with my set up and my gained 13whp and 42wtrq! Good Luck, John
