Im doing a stage5 on a 2.3 NG900 rite now :-) Posted by jak [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: 2.0T to 2.3T engine swap in 94 ng900?, Timmy, Fri, 10 Nov 2006 03:56:13 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
a guy brook brought a 96 900 with a 9000 2.3 in it to me
he blew a turbo on the way here so bad it was putting exhaust into the crankcase, it looked like it had really bad blowbye Ive never seen a turbo fail this badly & not actually break the shaft
it apeared as though it got fead some trash under boost which wrecked the compresor wheel & then the inballance took out the bearings
he is getting the works here & Ill have it all finished up tomarrow
Im expecting it to make about 300WHP & mabey 350ft lbs
he bought
the JSP T25/28
my intercooler
both hot & cold pipes
stainless exhaust
injectors
& stage5 tuning
it will be on the website soon :-)
on to your question
the blocks are the same so you could actually put the 2.3 crank rods & pistons into your block or just drop in a 2.3 you will switch the intake & exhaust manifold as well as the oil pan
if you could get an aero motor that would be cool but internally the aero engine isent any diferent then a non aero 2.3 but the aero 2.3 should have the TD04HL15T6cm2 turbo
I tuned a 2 litre with one of these to make 270WHP & 350 ft lbs at the wheels this is a verry good turbo for every day driving :-)
have a great weekend
