Before anybody thinks this is the usual question of can I use one in place of the other its not.
I'm wondering why we can't reprogram the T5 ecu during a stage tune to run the T7 DI properly. The drivers are already there because we know T5 can fire T7. Its the knock reading that is the problem. Whats preventing us from getting the DI programm in the ECU re-written during a stage tune to properly read knock on a T7 DI. Hell 100 bucks saved is 100 bucks saved when buying a DI for us T5 drivers.
