I didn't know that applied to the knock signal as well. In my reading up on the differences between T7 and T5 DI design it was the trigger diode/resistor (whatever it was) and the current used for the spark that was either AC or DC. I think that T5 was the DC and that T7 was the AC. Let me know what you find out when you run that test and if you think that the DI driver program inside the Trionic 5 ECU can be rewritten to work properly with a T7 DI
