Actually I plan to put a 19T wheel in the thing down the road but not until I have the money for pistons and a new clutch. I'm looking at a new TD04HL-16T turbo (not the volvo version) that has a T25 flange with 8.5cm2 inlet. So it should bolt up to the manifold (which I'd port as much as possible) and then I would have to get my downpipe modified to fit the 4 bolt oval discharge (not sure what type of discharge it is...looks like Garrett 5 bolt but with only 4 bolts) and put the stock ported compressor housing on the cold side. The turbo appears to only be oil cooled but I was under the impression all TD04 turbos were both oil and water cooled...maybe it's just advertised incorrectly...awaiting clarification from the seller. Anyway, the 16T and better flowing turbine housing should give me some improvement over the 15T without having to do the pistons at the same time while giving me a better setup than say an 18T with Saab 6cm housing later on once the 19T wheel goes in. I'm not too keen on the 18T with the Saab turbine housing but that's just me personally....one might call me an EGTphobe. I'm trying to avoid the headache and cost of putting in a Garrett BB turbo even though that is the best route to take performance speaking. I imagine the housing would have to be ported pretty thin to take the 19T wheel but it's been done with success.
