I hope you can too! Just remember that a 200 shot on 4 cylinders is the same engine stress as a 400 shot on 8 cylinders. When I was considering putting the kit from my Trans Am onto my V-12 Jag I had this discussion with NX Tech. They explained that the amount of nitrous/fuel that was jetted was exactly the same for every displacement. In other words it takes the same amount of nitrous and fuel to make 150 HP on a 502CI big block as it takes to make 150 HP on a 120CI four cylinder. Which did make perfect sense once he explained it but I had always figured the smaller engines used smaller jets. Anyway, the next point he made was that since the amount of nitrous is totally dependent on the HP and not displacement dependent, the amount of stress for a given power level is a factor of how much of the nitrous/fuel mixture goes into each cylinder. For instance, if you want to add 150 HP to 12 cylinders each cylinder is only carrying 12.5HP of the stress. If you did the same on a 6 cylinder each cylinder would be responsible for 25HP. His recommendation to me was not to exceed what would be "safe" for my Trans Am V-8 on any engine without beefed internals. Safe for the V-8 they told me was about 200-250 with a bigger fuel pump. That would be about 25-30HP per cylinder. So on my V-12, I could have done 300-360HP but on a 4 cylinder 100-120 would be the same "stress level" and thereby the upper limit of their recommendations. That of course assuming the fuel pump doesn't run out of steam. If your engine takes 200HP worth of NOS, that will be one of the biggest indicators that these engines are truly bulletproof we have ever seen.
