Hey Saabers,
Newbie to DIYer and Saabs in general. I've been reading the boards and hope to do the following upgrades, but want to confirm viability of my intentions. Tranny case has hole so motors gettin' pulled. Rebuilt '91 tranny & clutch with 500 miles to be installed. Already did brakes, tires, and will rebush and do general refresh on motor while it is out. As for the rest....
K&N Cone Filter (in car)
Red series Eprom (in car)
MSD coil w/ Nology wires (in car)
T3/T4 Turbo (in car)
Replace 30lb Red injectors with 45lb reds
SD APC & remove stock Red APC
2.3 9KT head from '91
2.3 9KT fuel rail & FPR from '91
2.3 9KT Intercooler from '91
2.1 Intake Manifold & throttle body
Delete EGR & source "948" ECU
Cams '85 Exhaust & 2.1 OR 2.3 Intake (not sure - any thoughts)
2.5" free flow turbo to tip (catless & w/flowmaster)
Convert to manual boost control
What recommendations, tips, perspectives, etc... are there for heading down this road? This board has been great but I'm in unchartered territory.
