I don't think the pistons will last very long at 470-500whp. One guy with 512bhp had his piston tops crushed and deformed after only 3 weeks and they were done by 3 months.
If you only get on it hard every now and then, it might make it a year or so, but if you race it or get on it hard a few times a day for any given period of time, my opinion is they will not hold up too well and will either crack or at least deform.
You need forged je pistons like the ones I have, Je now has the stock bore
pistons and some over sizes and I opted for the side skirt and top coatings too.
It will be interesting to see how long the pistons actually last at that power level. Let us know what happens down the road. I had my stock b234 pistons last about a year with heavy abuse, w/m with nitromethane, advanced timing and 30psi on race gas at the track. It was a screaming demon, but the #4 piston did crack one day while blasting through the gears. Good luck,
