big project-killing a rusty 87'spg/creating an 84' 16v

I pose a few questions concerning the installation of my 87 spg parts into my 84 8v.
-I would like to use my 8v trans, only because it has work done to it, and the spg trans needs a rebuild. I realize the differences in pinion size, etc, I'm just concerned if it bolts on to a 16v.
-Will a centerforce clutch work with the input shaft on the 8v trans?
-I'm converting the CIS into fully electronic injection (LH 2.2) with APC from the spg. Is the existing fuel pump in the 8v up to par with a turbo 16v?
-Can I keep the existing fuel lines? (I'd like to tie in new lines between what was the fuel distributor to the fuel rail) I'm hoping that I don't have to transfer all the lines from the 87 to the 84.
I'm shooting for the finished product to be somewhat of a watered down
scca car. The motor won't have more than heavier injectors, fpr, ecu, and a fmic from a volvo 850. The exhaust will be stock except for a magnaflow turbo muffler and the cat will be removed. I will be incorporating the stock turbo. Group 9 has a descent set of brembo drilled/vented rotors that I'll probably end up with. I've already installed bilstien hd shocks with the spg springs, and I happen to have a set of good shelby wheels on the car. Any tips or comments to aid the process are appreciated.
