Anything is better than SP2000s. Given the price and performance I think the SP9000s are an excellent choice. I have a 99' Viggen and switched out the SP2000s for AVS Sports. They are very good tires. However I was seriously considering SP9000s but they were not available in the correct size. Since I live in the desert, wet conditions are not that much of a concern. But from what I have read the P9000s do a better job in mixed weather conditions. Good luck - have fun.
