I am about to put a high flow muffler on. Well I bought this car used and the cat may already be gutted. When I put the muffler on, I am going to disconnect the resonator section to see if the cat has been gutted. I have a 93 9000 CDE and it has the newer down pipe where the cat is integral with it. They supposedly didn't start using this type till the 1996 model year. If I wanted to go with a high flow cat, should I get the original type down pipe and splice it in after the down pipe. So the flex section would go after the cat, right? The JT down pipe would be nice but dont want to spend that much right now. Thanks
