Hey Robert - my best advice (owning a viggen that just cracked 100k) is to do the best you can regarding preventative maintenance and then modify it as you see fit. When was the last time the MAF was replaced? Should be changed at least every 75k. DIC in good shape? PCV system updated? Drop the oil pan and clean it out, looking for any signs of serious sludge issues. If you pump it up to stage three and something bad happens 5, 10, 20k miles down the line -> rebuild it then, or save up some cash over the next year or so after you do the mods to put into a nice rebuild. Bottom line, if it's going to break, it's going to break. It's really not that big a deal and these cars really aren't very hard to work on. I say do your best maintaining it and you may be surprised with how reliable it'll be w/stage 3. Good luck (and let me know how you like it, as I'm waiting to pull the trigger on a stage 3 ecu as well)!
