I'm lovin' my Stage 3+ (that's for the upgraded bar and plate MP IC) on my '02 Viggen and wished I had done it sooner.

Lots of good advice here as to maintenance. I flushed and replaced all my fluids, belt, MAF, DIC, PCV #6, checked for sludge, etc. Next I installed steering rack clamp and brace, 6 point brace, upper strut brace, 22mm rear sway bar, poly motor and trans mounts. I also added Goodyear F1s to some new 18" forged 2 piece rims. I ran the car like this for a few months to ensure all was well.

After I was sure the car was running strong I installed all the hardware and the Nordic ECU. Even after all the 'risk management' I had to install a new clutch.

The Viggen is truly amazing with stage 3. The car will just keep on pulling and can break traction at any speed. I finally own a car that I do not have to mash the accelerator pedal to get it to move. WOT is rare and when I use it...look out because all that glorious torque will have you changing lanes and sawing at the wheel like a mad man to keep it straight....love it!!! Who needs more HP to have fun? 300+HP in a FWD car is like a naked bike....it FEELS a lot hairier. Did I mention how sweet the in car sound of the GS 3" V2 DP with Simons exhaust is? Music.

DO IT!
