I've raised this subject before, but I think many people are perhaps accustomed to the huge drivetrain losses associated with muscle-car auto trannies.
A tuned 2 liter turbocharged motor should approach 300hp without excessive mods ..why should the wheel horespower be at 210 then? A 30% drivetrain loss is way too much!
To give you an example, my 9-3 runs at 1bar (15psi) and the only other mods except for the ECU are Viggen I/C and K&N.
It dynoed at 215 engine hp and 197 at the wheels. That's less than a 10% loss. Even in the case of a 15% loss, I bet he would get at least 250 at the wheels.
