i think you have it backwards. a dyno is for facts and figures and for knowing where your power band needs work ( i.e. mixture problems) comparison to others on the street is for testosterone.
but enough mean-ness to a sabb brother. ;)
on your stalling issue. my guess now is lack of fuel due to lower airspeed through head at idle. I recall a v-8 problem on dragsters of the same type. the fuel condenses on the runners or some such thing because air speed is lower for the same volume or air. o2 is still reading rich after the run and air demand is low. injectors cycle down and engine starves because of additional condensation issues, been many years since i read about it, while walking barefoot in the snow to school, so the details are hazy. mines stops that symptom when i run the fuel pressure up.
