It seems like motors which don't have lot's of torque (undersquare?) seem to need to rely on higher RPM's to make the vehicles move. Be it a sportbike (13K RPM's), F1 car (18K+RPM's), honda V-tech(9-10K in S2000), etc the added revs allow fast acceleration. Torqier motors usually don't have the revs (oversquare?) but rely on the torque to make it move fast usually at a much broader RPM range. Like the S2000's motor must be pushed to 6K+ to have any fun/power.
Which is better?
I don't have a clue just different ways of accomplishing the same thing, going really really fast :o)
