Subject line was too funny, I almost thought it was another Spambot!

The TD-04 flow soooooo much more air that the TE-05, and is very responsive once the engine is spinning, but you will see 300rpm or so increase in spool time. Same power on less boost though, sounds great, no little whiney jet engine sounds like the stock T3.

I really like it, I wish it hit a little sooner, but I'm not done playing with mixture, and I think I can add a little bit of timing back in, it responds really well to playing with timing, it's much more efficient than the little frames that were on the C900's.

That being said - you can get plenty of torque to break the trans with the TE-05, and for an around town car I really prefer it, it's so snappy with spool compared to the larger turbo (even with my headers and 21 degrees base timing advance). I've actually thought recently I might like to put the TE-05 back on, I live in West Los Angeles now, and there isn't enough open space to be able to use the TD-04 except the freeway, or if I head up into the hills or something, and something smaller would be a better fit for an urban environment.

One of Dave's direct fit Hahn Racecraft super series TD turbos would work well, the small turbine housing on their little one might work well with a street C900.

We have one of the mid-size Hahn 16G TD-05's in the 9000 Aero (also with headers) and it's wonderful. The 16G comes with a 10 cm^2 turbine housing, but lag isn't hardly increased, maybe 100-200rpm, hardly noticeable, but flows a ton of air.

Best,
Drew
