Go check out digest.net - they have info on most Alfas. The Milano is based on the same chassis the GTV6 is, so what applies to one applies to the other for the most part. In general, rust is the big enemy - the Type 75s seems to rust easily and once it starts it gets ugly quickly. Definitely go for a 3.0l and not the 2.5l - or find a 2.5l that someone has already converted. The 3.0l is very reliable and long-lived with proper maintenance, so check maintenance records thoroughly or be prepared for work. IIRC the HVAC doesn't work exceptionally well, especially the AC part of it. Rear transaxle is pretty reliable but the rear inboard brakes are a PITA. Parts are still available through ARDONA (if you're in the US) and many mail-order shops, though don't expect to find body parts or find anything very cheaply. One thing I've been told is very hard to get is the driveshaft - Alfa no longer imports them and rebuilds are scarce ('cause the cores are...) - so make sure you don't get any drivetrain vibrations. Other than that, general maintenance items are certainly available...

Good luck finding one... I had my heart set on a GTV6 but still haven't found the right one... My 164Q keeps me happy in the interim... :)
