At first she was anti-Saab all the way. It was tough to get her to climb out of her leased Toyota Corolla DX (she bought it before we began dating) It was kind of interesting: wood grain dash, leather all around, top of line stereo, gold package, special rims, rear spoiler. It was boring to drive, but hey, it's a Toyota!

Anyway, stick shift was attempted in my car, but she was afraid she'd "break" it, and did not do well. I tried to teach her, but quickly learned that men will never be able to teach a woman how to drive. They definitely think about cars differently for the most part. I hate to generalize, but it is true.
