Let's see what we'd need:
Turbo with wastegate
add second, or modify current solenoid feedback for 2nd turbo
all turbo plumbing to get to intercooler
2nd BOV? or use what's there...?
design a new manifold for that bank
design a new downpipe for that bank
water cooling lines
oil lines
copper Head gaskets?
Modify Trionic I would expect...
I'm sure I'm just scratching the surface, but the big question is whether all this will fit up against the firewall. And we also have to consider accessibility for maintenance. This, though, is a matter of preference in many respects. If you're going to all the trouble, maintenance really won't be an issue. A wrench head is always a wrench head...:-)
Fun (expensive) theory though!
