In my one run of the night,I was up against an Eclipse of that vintage. We ran a very tight race, and he won by a little over .5 seconds. I was clearly gaining on him at the end, though. He finished at 97 mph, while I was at 91 and climbing. With another run or two, I'd have beaten him. His car was pretty well set up, and he was very surprised that the super SpuG hung with him. People said it was a fun race to watch, too! :)
