I have a Canadian model and perhaps the gearing is a bit lower . I found that especialy first is so low that if I'm not careful it over revs in what seems to be a split second. It's very easy to burn in first and second which can be embarasing in certain situations. I think lower gearing is great and results in more torque and a general more responsive car but less fuel economy. It's hard to imagine a 900 reaching 146 mph..and with more on tap. but perhaps with modifications it is posible.
