You are agressively changing your oil, which is great for the engine, but a bit wasteful IMHO. Unless you drive around WOT, running at 5K+ RPM all the time, you should be able to go 3K at least on oil changes. Are you using Synthetic? I do, and still change it every 3K (but I drive the car HARD) Synthetic can last over 5K on normal driving conditions.
