Rather than make a crushing can of the advance diaphram, an alternate solution I have employeed is to restrict the air to the unit, and use a tee with check valve with a bleed then you can releave pressure not the diaphram under boost and create what ever timing map. Still have to check it with a timing light and pressure tank. Oh yea remove the retard stop to acheive more retard movement.
