On the highway this past weekend, a 911 and I had it out

I have great respect for Porsches, especially their speed and style. They handle like nothing else, and are just fun cars. My SPG, though, is pretty well hooked up (though not to the max like others on this BB) and I really put it to a 911 over the weekend. Honestly, I thought he'd at least pull on me a little under heavy acceleration. I was pulling him, easily. The turbo boost made all of the difference, shooting me past him. He and I went at it for about 100 miles (at about 100 MPH), and every time he'd try to pass, I'd just downshift into 4th and gun it. Everytime he'd stay right where he was before: in my rearview mirror. We both had passengers; I had a full load of luggage, too! Ha!
Porsches don't spin their wheels (unless the driver wants it to), so you're gonna lose there. Sounds like you need the Viggen Rescue Kit. It is not unbelievable to me that a Saab can hang with a Porsche. If you know what you are doing and how to really drive your car to the max, then smoking a Porsche on the street isn't an issue. Of course, a modified Porsche is a whole different ball game. I drove a chipped 928 S4 once; whoamygod fastest thing I have EVER driven. Amazing speed. 55 - 90 MPH acceleration in under 4 seconds.
