any problems getting a moded saab to pass smog???

after talking to some smog testers about it they said it doesnt matter how clean the exaust gasses are if it doesnt pass the visual check. then they said if its too clean it may not pass eaither?????? WTF!!!
the only things on the motor that I will be able/willing to change are as follows
30lbs injecters
AID and timeing
RRFPR
20psi BOV
K&N
and AMM settings

the rest of the mods are all internal to the engine and turbo thus cant be changed.
8.0.1 JE forged pistons .020 over
zero gap rings
lightened/balanced saab rods, crank, flywheel
fully ported and polished 2.1 head w/ polished cc's
Kawaski double valve springs w/ titanium retainers.
copper head gasket
ARP hardware for head and mains
ported intake and exaust manifolds
big bore throtle body
Jett coatings on all exaust parts/brakets
blue printed T3 w/buick Grand National compressers
9000 spec centerforce clutch mated to a 85 flywheel
custom RRFPR & AID
red silicone lines
lots of red powder coat
lots of deep gold cad plating

The entire engine is being assembled to "zero" clearence
and balanced to zero as well.
