I found the spacing on my NG900 to be a little too far apart for most of my shoes. Probably due to Audi's bad press about unintendended acceleration, shoot the people were stupid and put their foot on the gas instead of the brakes.
Anyway, I bought some pedal covers that had adjustable plates. Then I just push the plates toward each other to make heel-toe easier. On the BMW (older model, before the Audi fiasco), the pedals are closer together and I can heel-toe without extra modifications.
