THere may be a few on this board (i will be one soon) but that requires solid lifters & higher rate springs. Cranking up the boost, adding a k&n or an exhaust does nothing to raise the redline it increases power. As saabaru said it is determined by valve float which happens with hydraulic lifters. This is the limiting factor in saab engines and perhaps high end breathing. But the internals can handle more than 7000rpm's its a queston of longevity.
