bike pump ok, but need a inner tube valve ...
I use an air tank, or an old spare tire (valve removed from stem), as accumulator to steady the pressure. helps a lot.
'mini-vac' hand pump ... pep-boys has em. can hook right up, but too small for use with a big accumulator.
set idle a bit high, as retard will drop rpms.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
C900T and C9000T SPG9-AID ALERT ... i've seen data showing 10 deg retard by 7 psi, 13 deg at 11 psi, and 16 deg at 20 psi. this would have u at 4 deg adv at 20 psi .. way too much retard.
If test shows this, as I suspect, a dawes 'fuel cut bypass' set to about 7-8 psi, should do it. If true, any AID user should get a dawes relief, even for modest boost levels.
I also recomended relief for C900T and C9000T owners with BTM and high boost, at Jeff C's site.
