For me, the road tests in C&D and R&T of SET's helped convince me to buy one. Now after having lived with it for 2.5 years, I'm almost ready to kick it out. The car is amazingly unreliable, and only fun to drive in the 4-7/10th's range. There isn't a whole lot of low end power, but the engine isn't happy up at what Saab calls "high" rpm. The suspension is harsh at low speed but way too soft for hard/fast driving, etc. Yes, the car has space inside, but I can count on one hand the number of times I've actually used all that space and the downside of the space is a very flexible body. I can hear creaks from the doors/sunroof/hatch just making the initial walking-speed turn into my driveway.
