The decision process for me getting my 5d Viggen was
1) I am partial to yellow saabs in the first place
2) body styling and aggressive looks
3) price/performance tradeoffs
4) safety history
5) can I get the wife to buy into a car she will never ever ever ever ever drive.... (she gets an 2002 Aero Wagon next May)
All of these questions and their answers directed me to buy car in the first place.
My experience at the VFA showed me what the car can do under extreme and not so extreme conditions and the cars really do things with the TWR tuned car that a big engine in a poorly tuned car can't do.
So make sure that the Nissan that you are looking at isn't their vanilla suspension and steering with a bigger engine but is tuned to handle the extra power so you can have more fun with it.
Good luck!
