The T7 is a throttle-by-wire system, and I would think more difficult than necessary. The T5/6 still uses a traditional cable linked throttle, which all the C900's have.
You will need a DI cassette -- get the later models as they are less prone to failure. You will also need a MAP sensor and of course the wiring harness is completely different. Splicing into the C900 will be a challenge. Beyond that, you need to ask those (?) who have done it. Is it simple? I doubt it. But that's half the fun, isn't it?
Heck, I know of someone adapting a Trionic to a stroker motor. Big DI cassette sticking above the little three cyl 2 cycle engine. Wierd, but it worked!
Good luck!
