I've researched this a bunch and am currently attempting the conversion with T5 into my SPG. The OBD-II stuff requires an extra O2 sensor south of the catalytic convertor, and the ECU is constantly checking and rechecking multiple functions to verify correct motor operation. This includes O2 sensor 1, O2 sensor 2, Throttle Pos Switch, DI cassette operation, etc. That ECU is a busy little beaver!
The main installation difficulty is the crank position sensor, which on the later (1994-on) cars is integrated into the block assembly. The trigger wheel is actually bolted to a counterweight on the crankshaft, and the sensor pokes through the side of the block to read it. I'm probably going to have to mount this externally on the pulley. All the rest is just sensors and wiring.
