The HKS unit would need to work with #30 injectors because the #24's went lean on Chris's run beyond 5,000 rpm? With #30 injectors and HKS you could modify the AMM signal for rpm settings through the power band. Then your a/f would be fairly accurate given points every 250 rpm gain. Do I have this correct?
Brad has had good success with a fifth injector driven by a MF2 controller. Max horsepower at 200 with loads of power throughout the rpm range. 180 early on and at 5500. Good a/f--which of course is the key. It is set via adjustment pots and is 3d mapable. Brad doesn't feel that the rrfpr is the best method as well for fuel delivery.
Kooch nailed a/f with his highly modified engine (extensive head work and cams). Who is to say that others would duplicate his a/f graph. It would have to see results of others with #30 and rrfpr to believe that this approach work well for all modified engines.
