Okay, last night I tried the AMM resistor mods. With the potentiometer in there, Kooch, dude, you're right, it just bounced all over the place. I soldered the resistors into the orange wire, but still nothing.
In desperation, called Mike at SPG9. Talk about dedication! I wouldn't like to spend my evenings coaching a bunch of numbnuts Saab boost junkies how to get more boost! Thanks Mike though.
He advised ditching the resistors and just tuning the AMM. My AMM is adjustable, LH2.2. Turned it down to 250, but still rich idle (last bar of stoich to one bar rich). Nothing, no results. Tried leaning it out even more, by hand, nothing.
Anyway, boost is much much much better! Peak of 20, no APC LED going off to show detonation, taper down to 17-18, but pretty steady there. Nice.
I suppose I should check the wiring? I thought I saw a disconnected black wire, I forget, is this one pin 3 or 6?
