sorry to be right. :) with the tuning of the amm, i'm not familiar with the 2.2. with the resistors, the higher the resistance, the leaner the mixture. did you try going up to 350ohms? but, don't know if the amm tuning has the same effect as the resistors. it sounds like you are using an a/f gauge to dial everything in? it should sweep when it's warmed up, provided the o2 sensor is good. sweep should be from bottom red to 1st one or two green, and back. at least this is what the a/f gauge instructions show. if you are getting the first two green and it's hanging there, then yes, you are rich, but if it's sweeping, you're ok. also, don't know with 2.2, but with 2.4, if you are too rich at idle, you'll know it because your idle will jump to around 1300 rpm after a minute or so. ecu can't compensate for overly rich mixture at idle, so it goes to limp home mode (don't know if 2.2 has this?). so, if you are sweeping at idle, and idling at normal rpm, you should be ok. the only other way i can think of to get things dialed in, is with wide band o2 sensor and dyno, then you'll know what the mixture is all the way through the rpm range. as far as normal driving, the a/f should sweep until you go wot, then it should go green and stay there. hope this helps. sorry for the extraneous info if you don't have a a/f gauge, it sounded like you do. good luck.
