new plugs made a huge difference

Just a note to describe two recent issues with my 95 Abbottized 900SE that others may encounter.
As background I had the Abbott ECU and atmospheric dump valve installed 18 months ago. Initially everything ran great with the boost needle over 50% in the red.
About 6 months ago I definitely began to notice less boost and strange noises from the dump valve, not the regular "whooosh". Upon inspection the diaphram seal in the dump valve was cracked and not holding full pressure. After taking six months to get a new Kevlar seal(it really looks like cheap rubberized polyethylene)the dump valve again was holding pressure however now the car was not firing properly when under full boost. The car would run perfectly under all conditions except WOT. My spark plugs were 3 years and 15,000 miles old. Upon changing the plugs the car is running great...better than I can remember.
I have ordered a piston type atmospheric dump valve because it is only a matter of time before the cheap seal cracks again.
